Healthy Neighborhoods Inc. (HNI) helps strong but undervalued Baltimore neighborhoods build market confidence, improve housing, and foster community engagement.
Through a $35 million private loan fund, HNI provides below-market purchase, renovation, and home-improvement loans. It also offers block project grants, supports energy-efficiency projects, and builds capacity through partnerships. Working with public and private stakeholders, HNI invests in 71 neighborhoods, strengthening Baltimore’s housing market and supporting long-term neighborhood vitality.
