Other Investments

Beyond Grantmaking

In addition to grantmaking, the Foundation offers revolving loans to nonprofit developers, loan and lease guarantees for hard-to-finance projects, and program-related investments in catalytic initiatives. Recent examples include the Healthy Neighborhoods loan fund, Central Baltimore Future Fund, Hoen Lithograph redevelopment, and the Enolia apartments for Morgan State University students.
