About Us

The Goldseker Foundation invests in people and institutions toward a socially and economically healthy future for Baltimore.

We strategically provide operating and special project support to 501(c)(3), 509(a), and fiscally sponsored organizations.

Our Team

The Foundation is led by six directors, an Advisory Selection Committee—representing The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, Johns Hopkins University, and Morgan State University—and three professional staff.

Our History

The Foundation was created through the generosity and foresight of Morris Goldseker (1898-1973). Since the original bequest of $11 million from his estate in 1975, the Goldseker Foundation has granted over $130 million in Baltimore.

The Goldseker Foundation has supported nearly 650 nonprofit organizations throughout Baltimore. Our current and past grantees include community development organizations, educational institutions, social innovators, and others.
